The Spring 2017 Issue of Isis-Seshat Journal Is Now Available!

Isis-Seshat journal is the quarterly publication of the Fellowship of Isis, a worldwide religious community that celebrates the 41st anniversary of its founding this spring. I’m pleased to commence my third year of serving as its Executive Editor, a position I inherited from my late Archpriestess here in Chicago, the Rt. Rev. Deena Butta. I’m happy to announce that the Spring issue is now available as a PDF.

As a worldwide organization dedicated to restoring worship of the Divine Feminine, however the individual religious celebrant may conceive of Her, the Fellowship of Isis was founded on the principles of democracy, pluralism, “the freedom of conscience of each member,” a commitment to preserve the planet’s biodiversity, and inter-religious ambassadorship. You can read the full text of the Manifesto here.

The Spring issue commemorates the 41st anniversary of the organization and the centennial anniversary of the birth of its extraordinary co-founder, the Hon. Rt. Rev. Lady Olivia Robertson. Additionally, the issue explores the theme of Sacred Pilgrimages. Content features essays, poetry, and fiction.

FOI community member Amara Astrum’s wonderful artwork once again graces the cover! This is her painting, Osiris Risen.

If you’d like a copy of the PDF, it’s just $5 USD and I accept PayPal payments at anna.applegate@yahoo.com.

I’ll be posting a Call to Submissions soon regarding the Summer issue, which will be released at the end of July. All Pagans, Polytheists, Magicians, Spirit-Workers, and Shamans are welcome to contribute content–you needn’t be a member of the FOI.

Stay tuned, and happy Spring!
