New Ritual Jewelry Pieces Uploaded to JackalMoonDesigns: My Etsy Site

Well, if rowdy Mars opposing transformative Pluto conjunct the ambitious Capricorn full moon last night (based on my time zone) has taught me anything, it’s that I can get worked up into a devotional jewelry-making frenzy. I worked on three Mjöllnír (Thor’s Hammer) necklaces alone, two featuring striking sterling silver pendants and the third a bone one. All told, I made four necklaces in the span of a conventional workday. The bone pendant Mjöllnir, which was cool because it depicted Jørmungand, the World Serpent, coiling around Thor’s Hammer, sold as soon as I made an announcement about it to my Facebook friends and uploaded photos. So I have three necklaces I’ve added to my Etsy site, JackalMoonDesigns–have a look and let me know what you think!

Bold and uncompromising in declaring your devotion to Thor, this Mjöllnír featuring a sterling silver ram’s head is one of my favorite pieces.

Beads feature two types of Baltic amber chips along with red tiger eye, bone, and faceted tiger eye beads as spacers.

This is one of the most striking tribal antiques I’ve had the fortune to come across. Direct from the Silk Road, this brass two-headed horse pendant features inlaid coral, turquoise, and lapis lazuli. I paid it a bold homage with sliced red coral and two inch-long lapis lazuli torpedo-shaped beads. A hefty and dazzling piece.

The horse pendant is large: 3.5 inches wide by 3 inches tall. It is light but the slices of red coral have considerable heft. I did galdr of the Ehwaz rune while making this piece.

I really love the 9 mm red tiger eye beads in this piece, as well as the cheerful Baltic amber chips interspersed with hematite that flank the sterling silver wolf-headed pendant.
